Golden light making pretty at this wedding.

Photography, derived from the Greek photos- for "light" and -graphos for "drawing".

Probably fair to say that most of us know already this, but it's kinda cool to remember that is exactly what we are doing when making images.

The light in New Zealand is actually quite harsh/ contrasty to work with, and I love creating more of a soft and subtle feeling with the light. Which is why I play with lens flare. A lot. It creates a hazy-ness (is that a word?) to the images, and it's a bit random, which is fun too.

Of course the moment has to be having people in love with each other is a wee bit of a bonus!
