A ten year vow renewal and family photo session, intimate and informal.

I'm a huge fan of documentary style family photography. My favourite thing is to capture families just being themselves - no forced smiles or staged poses, just natural interactions and all the connections. It really is an honour to capture the real moments for people to look back on and cherish.

Earlier in the year, I had a very special opportunity to photograph not just a family, but an intimate 10-year vow renewal and it was such a delight. From the love and commitment of Gemma and Lance to the excitement and laughter of their girls, to their fabulous, and most chilled, huge St. Bernard!

We also wandered around the ah-mazing and inspirational location they were staying at and did some lovely relaxed portraits of them all, the girls were great to hang out with, full of character loads of laughter, and did I mention their dog, I mean, I have no words…

Location: the gorgeous Te Hapua Wetlands

A gorgeous little preview slideshow of this fantastic family photo session.
